Today marks the inauguration of the application process for the Family Grant program, a regional initiative designed to bolster access to educational, recreational, and leisure services for children under the age of 18. Spearheaded by the Regional Family Assessor, Alessia Rosolen, the program aims to foster a harmonious equilibrium between family responsibilities and professional commitments.

Ms. Rosolen emphasized that the Family Grant is available to individuals holding a Family Card, provided their minor children fall within an Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (ISEE) of 35,000 euros or below. Notably, mothers with dependent minor children who have undergone protection and support programs following instances of violence are exempt from presenting the ISEE.

For the fiscal year 2024, the Family Grant allocation is delineated as follows: 560 euros per minor child, with an additional 100 euros for families with disabled members. However, if the Family Card holder has resided in the region for less than five years, the grant amount reduces to 280 euros per minor child.

Eligible expenditures, incurred between January 1st and December 31st, 2024, encompass a broad spectrum of services, including parental support programs during non-school hours, educational assistance, cultural outings, language courses, artistic pursuits, and sports activities.

Applicants without a Family Card may concurrently apply for the Family Grant, provided they meet the requisite criteria.

The application process for the Family Grant is exclusively conducted online through the designated platform. Submissions are accepted annually from April 1st until the December 31st deadline. Applicants must furnish documentation substantiating expenses related to all dependent minor children within the family unit.
