Prepare for an exciting market experience set to unfold this Thursday, November 16th—a monthly spectacle that never fails to surprise. Running from 8 am to sunset, this market, organized by the cultural Association “Cose de Vecchie” in collaboration with the Municipality of Trieste, promises an abundance of unique finds.

Immerse yourself in the spirited atmosphere of “un pozzo di occasioni,” as the market showcases an eclectic array of offerings. From small antiques and distinctive collections to artistic crafts, vintage vinyl records, comics, miniatures, and models, there’s something for every enthusiast.

Taking center stage in Opicina, the market transforms the sidewalks of Via Nazionale every third Thursday of the month into a bustling display of regional exhibitors. More than just a shopping haven, this market has a broader mission—to breathe new life into the Karst village of Opicina and position itself as a key tourist attraction.

In collaboration with the Municipality of Trieste, the market aims to draw in both city residents and tourists, injecting vitality into the local economy. As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Cultural Association “Cose di Vecchie Case” in 2023, boasting a membership of over 350 individuals, including 100 private exhibitors, it’s clear that this event is more than just a marketplace—it’s a celebration of community and culture.
