As October rolls in, Trieste looks forward to a fall of exciting cultural and social events, from book presentations to cutting-edge art festivals. Friuli Venezia Giulia capital gets ready for Barcolana, while October is still warm enough for dinner and drinks outside, even a day at the beach. Here are our suggestions, one for each day of the month.
1 Oct. The Miramare Castle is open free of charge today as part of the Domenica al Museo initiative. Go out there and explore!
